Does anyone know where I could find 1/2 or 1/4 scale chairs and sofas to use for samples as well as for demonstrating how to slipcover and upholstery? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try http://www.miniatures.com for anything 1/2" or 1/4" scale. You can also do a google search for miniature supply or dollhouse supply. Those two scales are common dollhouse scales. A good dollhouse store (if you have one in your area) can often custom order items from wholesalers for you, as well.
